It was not too sweet and the salted caramel layer with the chocolate sponge was amazing. And I’m so glad you recommended to do the base in buttercream only. I had the pleasure in trying the Gluten free carrot cake from Joyful treats and I can't recommend them enough. The cake did not lack taste, it actually tasted better than any carrot cakes I have ever had. The texture of the cake was so moist and the cream was whipped to perfection. I normally bake at home for my family a lot and I always find that store bought cakes lack something but this cake was perfect. Looking forward to buying other gluten free cakes soon.
